► Media Comittee Elections

What is Student Media?

Student Media here at City University London is a free press. For all students’ to promote and disseminate student related news. Using the various mediums and publications provided by the CULSU Media Committee

Student Media Committee

The Student Media Committee is a board of students elected from the volunteers of the media team. They are there to represent the views of the sub-groups they represent and make strategic decisions on behalf of the entire Media Team.

There are 8  positions available:

- 2 x City Inquirer Representatives

- 2 x City Offline Representatives

- 4 x Open seats

Election Changes

Due to some unforseen restrictions and problems arising from the usage of our voting system. Which are currently still being resolved by  IT professionals, the media elections structure was forced to either change or be cancelled. Hoping that the next communications officer continued with the current officers aspiration to have a fully independent free press for students here at City University London.

So the show must go on...

Candidates

Inquirer and City Offline Representatives must be registered and part of a newspaper team to be put forward as a representative of that paper. Which will be verified by the editor of the paper in question.

All candidates can nominate themselves in the same way as before. By sending through the following details to vpcomms@city.ac.uk:
