The Students’ Union exists to make sure you have the best overall experience of University socially and academically. As a registered student of City University London you will automatically be a member of the Students’ Union which is independent of the University. We work to represent, serve and support each and every student to ensure your voice is heard at all levels within the University.
We are a democratically run organisation with student representatives voted for every year by you on to the Students’ Union Executive Committee. This committee is the political leadership of the Union who define our goals and priorities for the year and consists of three Full Time Officers and seven School Representation Officers.
The Union also offers free and impartial advice for students through our Union Support Service. If you would like to make a complaint, an appeal against a decision relating to your course or even facing disciplinary action, we have a team of trained advisors who can offer you independent and confidential advice.
We aim to put fun in to your University life without breaking the bank. We have a range of student clubs and societies for you to join and regularly organise events such as ‘I Love Wednesdays’ at the Saddlers Bar, end of term parties, open mic nights and various others. So what are you waiting for? Get involved!
