City Students’ Union are launching an essay competition to offer you the opportunity to demonstrate how creative and sharp you can be. This year the theme of the competition is Brexit!
Sponsored by dynamic UK law firm Bond Dickinson LLP, Global law firm DLA Piper, leading International law firm Ashurst and City Students’ Union, this competition is open to all City students and requires entrants to write a piece* of no more than 1500 words**.
The essay will be judged by a diverse panel according to the following criteria:
- coherent style of writing
- use of a wide range of sources
- demonstrate a creative argument
1st Prize: 3 Days Work Experience at Bond Dickinson LLP, £100 cash and a Limited Edition Links of London Pen which could all come in very handy for your profile and CV!
2nd Prize: Lunch with lawyers from DLA Piper, a Students’ Union Hoodie and an NUS Extra Card
3rd Prize: A City, University of London Hoodie and an NUS Extra Card

Deadline for entry this year is 11.59pm, Monday 27th February 2017, with the Awards ceremony on Monday 20th March 2017.
